Cowgirls ‘N Angels

We have just learned of a new family film being released on Friday. This is a limited released film which will be in 16 theaters in Utah and only a total of 60 theaters nation wide. If it builds it will go into more theaters nation wide.

Some of the investors in this film helped make “The Swan Princess” films possible because they believed in sponsoring and supporting wholesome family entertainment. We will always remember their kindness in making “The Swan Princess” possible.  We would like to help them have a success with this touching family film “Cowgirls ‘N Angels.” We encourage all who can to see this film this weekend to help it build momentum to go into much wider circulation.  Good family films are rare and if we give them support there will be more produced. Thanks for your continual support for Living Scriptures.  Please extend your support to see “Cowgirls ‘N Angels” this weekend.

Sincerely,

Did Jesus Really Live Again?

FHE Lesson — “Did Jesus Really Live Again?”    Principle: Resurrection

“All of us will die. But that will not be the end…just as He took up His body and came forth from the tomb, even so shall all of us enjoy a reunion of body and spirit to become living souls in the day of our own ‘resurrection’. Jesus made it possible for us to be resurrected like he was. This means that each of us will live again after we die.” ~Gordon B. Hinckley

Story: Becky’s Gloves
by Margie Nauta Lee © Living Scriptures, Inc.

Five-year-old Becky rummaged through her closet and her drawers for her winter mittens, but couldn’t find them. She then searched under the bed and even her toy chest, but they were nowhere to be found.

Becky found mother in her sewing room.

“Mommy, I’ve looked everywhere for my mittens and I can’t find them!”

Mother looked up from the sewing machine and then held up the dainty pink Easter dress she had just finished making for Becky. “I don’t think your winter mittens will go with this do you?”

Becky laughed. “No! You’re silly Mommy!”

Mother smiled. “I think you’re silly!” she said. “Why would you be looking for your winter mittens? It’s eighty degrees outside!”

“I’m not going to wear them outside!” Becky exclaimed. “Sarah’s coming over and we’re going to play primary. I’m going to be Sister Wallace.”

“And Sister Wallace wears winter mittens when she teaches primary?” Mother asked.

“No-oooo!” Becky said with a giggle, while picturing Sister Wallace holding her scriptures with winter mittens on. “I’m giving the resurrection lesson and I don’t have gloves. I going to pretend my mittens are gloves!” … Read More
